Job summary

National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in the United Kingdom is seeking a Benefits and Monitoring & Evaluation Manager for the Time & Frequency department to consolidate benefits and evaluation evidence across the UK National Timing Centre programme. You will own the central tracking, ensure consistency, and challenge outputs before they reach senior decision-makers.

• Experience consolidating and assuring benefits and evaluation evidence on complex programmes.
• Strong analytical rigour with the authority to challenge contributors and senior stakeholders.
• Track record turning activity from separate teams into a single, credible picture.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate benefits and monitoring & evaluation strategies and plans into a single view for the programme.
• Own central tracking and reporting of benefits and evaluation evidence, ensuring consistency and order.
• Quality assure and challenge benefits and evaluation data before it reaches the SRO and senior stakeholders.
• Identify risks and inconsistencies across benefits and evaluation activity and direct action to resolve them.
• Maintain mechanisms by which benefits and outcomes are tracked, reported and evidenced throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Assure the SRO that planned benefits are realistic, deliverable, and properly evidenced.
• Represent the programme's benefits and evaluation position in engagement with sponsoring departments and government stakeholders.
