Job description

Location Location to be agreed with the successful candidate

We're looking for a Benefits Analyst to join our newly formed Business Improvement team within Field Operations at a pivotal time for the business.

This role offers the chance to be at the heart of one of the most ambitious transformation programmes in the electricity distribution industry. As we continue to evolve how Field Operations delivers for our customers and communities, you'll play a key role in ensuring improvement initiatives and transformation programmes deliver measurable value and lasting outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Field Ops PMO & Benefits, you'll join a high-performing, capability-led team responsible for driving and evidencing change across a diverse portfolio of work. From in-year improvement projects delivering significant financial benefits, to long-term transformation programmes focused on operational performance, customer outcomes and people impact, you'll have visibility across some of our most important business priorities.

Working closely with programme teams, operational leaders and Finance colleagues, you'll help shape how benefits are defined, tracked and realised, providing the insight and assurance needed to support effective decision-making and demonstrate value delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop expertise in benefits realisation, business improvement and transformation, while helping shape the future of Field Operations and supporting the delivery of our ED3 ambitions.

Because we know flexibility matters, this role offers a hybrid approach to working, combining home and office working. While we'd ideally like you to be based in the Midlands, we're open to candidates located near any of our offices across the East Midlands, West Midlands, South West or Wales.

Main Responsibilities
  • Defining, tracking and analysing benefits across improvement initiatives and transformation programmes.
  • Producing insightful reporting to support governance forums and senior stakeholder decision-making.
  • Monitoring benefits performance, identifying risks, issues and variances, and supporting corrective action where required.
  • Maintaining benefits profiles, tracking tools and supporting evidence to ensure robust governance and audit readiness.
  • Working with project teams, operational stakeholders and Finance to validate assumptions, baselines and realised outcomes.
  • Supporting regulatory evidence requirements and benefits assurance activities.
  • Driving continuous improvement in benefits management tools, reporting and processes.
