About the role

Benefits Advisor

Tarmac provides sustainable solutions for construction projects across the UK, supporting infrastructure development nationwide. From providing raw materials to expert contracting services, we are the go-to supplier for any building and construction solutions.

We're currently looking to recruit a Benefits Advisor to join our Reward team.

This role operates across the whole of the business and ensures that the Tarmac benefit arrangements are operated on a consistent and efficient basis across all of the business units and the central functions.

This is a Fixed term contract expected to last one year.

Main responsibilities

In this role you\'ll:

• Ensure that all routine benefits matters are operated in an efficient and compliant manner at all times
• Act as a key relationship contact with all third party benefit providers
• Act as a first point of contact for current and former employees with benefits related queries
• Assume day to day administration responsibility in respect of all areas of employee benefit provision
• Be the first point of contact for employees, internal stakeholders and third party advisers with respect to routine enquiries
• Be responsible for the collation of data in respect of the annual events relating to areas of responsibility
• Monitor adherence to associated policies and processes by key internal stakeholders (HR, Payroll, HR Services)
• Monitor 3rd party advisers adherence to agreed SLAs
• Support various voluntary benefit provisions

Experience & qualifications

To be successful in this role you\'ll need:

• Experience of operating various benefit arrangements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - a high degree of accuracy combined with the ability to present information in an engaging way for a wide range of stakeholders
• To be able to deal with senior stakeholders in a confident and fluent manner.
• To be organised and methodical - delivery driven
• Employee benefit technical knowledge
• To be IT Literate - Word Excel, Project, Powerpoint etc
• Stakeholder Management experience
• The ability to deliver qualitative outputs efficiently
• Effective communication skills
