An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Benefits Advisor to support older individuals in maximizing their income through benefit applications. This part-time role involves building trust with clients, providing tailored advice, and conducting home visits as needed. Based:Cardiff
Salary: £18,779 – £20,089 per annum (Depending on experience) (£23,474 – £25,111 FTE)
Term: Fixed Term from July 1st, 2025, until July 31st, 2026
Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week, Tuesday – Friday 9:00am-4:00pm with some flexibility for the right candidate
Age Connects Cardiff & the Vale is looking for individuals who can support older people to help them maximise their income through completing benefit checks and applications for benefit entitlement.
Although no formal qualifications are required, this role is ideally suited to someone who has knowledge and experience of benefit entitlement, particularly for older people. The Benefits Advisor will have the ability to build strong relationships and trust with clients, colleagues and other professionals. They will be expected to work independently and on their own initiative within clearly defined organizational policies and procedures.
