Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Bendi Forklift Driver in Witney. The role involves handling goods, picking and packing, and movement of stock using a Bendi forklift within a busy warehouse.

You will be expected to maintain safety standards, perform daily forklift checks, and support other warehouse duties as required. A valid Bendi forklift licence is required, and driving is necessary due to location.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or similar experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
• Valid Bendi forklift licence or recognised articulated forklift certification.
• Previous experience operating a Bendi forklift in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety standards when operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately
• Reworking customer orders to their individual specifications
• Safely operating a Bendi articulated forklift to move stock around the warehouse, including working in narrow aisles and racking areas
• Completing daily forklift checks and reporting any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly
• Loading, unloading, stacking, and replenishing stock safely using the Bendi forklift
• Following safe operating procedures when manoeuvring stock, pallets, and materials in busy warehouse areas
• Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Reporting any damaged or missing goods to supervisors
• Assisting in other warehouse duties as required
