Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for an FLT Driver to work in Abercynon on a day shift. You will load and unload lorries, operate Bendi/Flexi and Counterbalance FLTs, and move stock around the warehouse and production areas.

The role includes goods-in/out procedures and daily FLT safety checks. The successful candidate will have previous FLT driving experience, valid Bendi/Flexi and Counterbalance licences, and a strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an FLT driver.
• Valid Bendi/Flexi licence and Counterbalance licence.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Operate Bendi/Flexi, and Counterbalance FLTs in line with regulations.
• Move stock throughout warehouse and production areas.
• Stack, wrap, label and prepare pallets for dispatch.
• Carry out goods-in and goods-out procedures accurately.
• Perform daily FLT safety checks and report faults or maintenance issues.
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organised and hazard-free.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders as required.
• Support the wider warehouse team with general duties.
• Follow all health, safety, quality and compliance procedures.
• Complete paperwork and update records accurately.
• Perform manual handling duties including heavy lifting (up to 25kg).
