Job summary

Gi Group (United Kingdom) is seeking a reliable Bendi (Flexi) & Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our Northampton site. You will safely operate forklift trucks to move, load, unload, and store goods, while maintaining accurate stock handling and adherence to site safety guidelines.

Onsite assessment and health and safety induction are required before start. You will work Monday to Friday, with overtime rates applying on weekends and a pay rate of £14.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Bendi/Counterbalance forklift national licence.
• Confident working at height and in narrow aisles/racking.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate stock handling.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Physically able to complete manual handling tasks when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Bendi/Flexi / CB truck to move stock safely within the warehouse, including working in narrow aisles and racking areas.
• Load and unload deliveries/collections as required, ensuring loads are stable and transported securely.
• Put away stock into racking locations and complete replenishment tasks to support picking operations.
• Support Goods In/Goods Out activities: checking quantities, reporting discrepancies/damages, and following site processes.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including PPE, speed limits, pedestrian segregation, and safe stacking guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse operatives, team leaders, and transport teams to meet KPI and dispatch targets.
