Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bench Joiner to join our team, specialising in the production of fire doors. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, shaping, and finishing wooden components to a high standard of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture and assemble fire doors to specified dimensions and fire safety standards

Read and interpret technical drawings and production plans

Measure, mark, cut, and shape timber and sheet materials with precision

Fit ironmongery components and edge lippings

Maintain high levels of accuracy, finish quality, and craftsmanship

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

Proven experience in bench joinery, preferably within fire door manufacturing

Ability to work from technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Must provide own hand tools (no power tools required)

Punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
