Excellent opportunity for a qualified Bench Joiner to join a well-established construction company based in Swindon.

The Company

They are a family-run Joinery, Fit Out and M&E company with over 50 years of experience, delivering high-quality projects for prestigious clients such as Harrods, British Airways, Disney and many more. They specialise in bespoke joinery and high-end cabinetry, and our projects have high quality standards and tight deadlines.

We’re seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join their friendly Joinery Department at their workshop in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that values craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail.

What You’ll be Doing
  • Producing high-quality joinery items to detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Using a wide range of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and finishing techniques.
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the joinery team to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Bench Joiner with a recognised joinery qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a joinery workshop.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
  • A self-motivated, reliable team player with a commitment to high standards.
Hours, Pay and Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate dependant on experience
  • 40 hour per week with opportunity for overtime
  • 25 days holiday per year plus 8 statutory/public holidays (including company Christmas shutdown).
  • Pension: Enrolment into the Company pension scheme (NEST).
  • Additional benefits include sick pay (SSP), family leave entitlements, and training/development opportunities.
