Job description

Mayday Personnel is working with a reputable company who are looking for a Bench Joiner to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business who are a leader in their field, offering expert services across the UK & Europe. The Bench Joiner role will be a temporary to permanent position on a full-time basis if you get on well!

The ideal candidate will have:

• Machine operating experience within a workshop environment (CNC machining is not essential)
• Hand/power tools experience (candidates are required to have their own tools)
• Knowledge of spraying (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience of working to CAD drawings
• Good attention to detail and able to follow verbal and written instructions effectively
• Able to work in a fast paced environment, whilst maintaining accuracy and quality

Main duties:

• Operating machinery within a workshop environment
• Laminating
• Assembly
• Using various hand and power tools
• Quality checking finished products
• Working to CAD drawings to ensure specifications are accurate
• Keeping the workshop and customer premises clean and tidy

Pay:

• 13.00 to 13.50ph (depending on experience)

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm
• Overtime opportunities available
