Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a skilled Pattern Maker/Improver for their manufacturing site in Littleborough. The role involves manufacturing full-size models for production moulds, designing initial shapes, and attention to detail. Ideal candidates have woodworking or carpentry experience, and the position offers 40 hours per week with overtime pay for hours over 40. This is a permanent role with a focus on quality checking and assembly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Pattern making or Improving role is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and quality checking experience is essential.
• Able to draw designs and work to other designs.

Reliable Recruit are looking to hire a Pattern Maker/Improver for our clients Manufacturing site in Littleborough

The work will involve:

• Manufacturing Full-size Models for Production moulds to be produced from
• Designing and making the initial shapes
• Cutting and Assembling of frames
• Using a variety of Hand Tools, Power Tools and Machines
• Attention to Detail
• Quality Checking

Working Times and Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00-16:30 Mon-Weds, 08:00-17:00 Thurs and 07:00-15:00 Friday
• 40 hours per week paid after breaks
• Overtime paid over 40 hours at x 1.5
• Permanent Role

Skills/Qualifications Needed:

• Any experience in a Pattern making role or Improving role would be an advantage
• Previous Woodworking, Bench Joinery or Carpentry experience is essential
• Able to draw designs and work to other designs
• Good attention to detail and quality checking experience
