Job description

DC Personnel are working with a leading design and manufacturing company in Leicester to recruit experienced Bench Hand Joiners for their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end bespoke joinery projects in a clean, supportive and well-equipped workshop.

Location: Leicester
Pay Rate: £13.50 - £17.45 per hour (To achieve the higher rate you'll need 2+ years' experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Early Friday finish | Temp to Perm role | Immediate starts available

The Role:

As a Bench Hand Joiner, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of bespoke joinery production — from manufacturing to assembly and finishing.

Key duties include:

Reading and working from technical drawings
Manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery components
Operating a range of woodworking machinery and handheld tools
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working both independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in bench joinery or similar role
Background in manufacturing or production
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Confident using hand and power tools
NVQ or equivalent in Joinery/Carpentry is desirable
Driving licence and own transport preferred (not essential)
