Job summary

A bespoke joinery company in Basildon is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner/Wood Machinist. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and proficiency with woodworking machinery. Responsibilities include manufacturing fitted furniture, sash windows, and doors. The salary is negotiable between £15.00-£20.00 per hour based on experience.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Bench Joiner/Wood Machinist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Hours of work: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in bench joinery and be able to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency with woodworking machinery.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently are essential.

Experience:

• Wood Machining: 5 years (required)
• Bench Joinery: 5 years (required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing joinery products including:
• Fitted and freestanding furniture
• Sash and casement windows
• Doors
• Reception desks
• Screens

Salary:

• £15.00-£20.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
