Bench Hand Joiner
Location: Newton-Le-Willows
Salary: £17.04 per hour / £38,987.52 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am start (38–44 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent

The Opportunity
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced or time-served Bench Hand Joiner to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton-Le-Willows. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its high standards, craftsmanship, and supportive working environment.

This role offers the chance to work on a variety of specialist joinery tasks, including high-pressure laminate work, door assembly, and bespoke products – all within a modern manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate hand and power tools with precision

Use dimension saws, spindle moulders, and routers

Operate sanding and postforming machinery

Work with spray adhesives and laminates

Install vision panels and ironmongery on fire doors

Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working area

Keep accurate stock and material usage records

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in joinery, bench joinery, or woodworking

Familiarity with tools such as routers, trimmers, moulders, etc.

Detail-oriented with good H&S awareness (COSHH knowledge ideal)

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

On Offer:

Hourly rate of £17.04/hr

33 days holiday including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown
