Job description

Overview

Our friendly client based just outside Bishops Stortford is looking for Assembly / Wiring / Bench operatives (not on feet) to work within an open plan production warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Assembly duties and simple manual wiring functions.
• Basic sub-assembly of vehicle wiring products.
• Crimping type skills and other associated duties, working from basic drawings (ongoing job training support will be given).
• Follow diagrammed instructions and verify work through ongoing quality tests; maintain a proactive, team-focused approach and good communication.

Hours & Schedule

4 day week: Monday & Tuesday, 07:00–17:30; Wednesday & Thursday, 07:00–17:15. 39.5 hours total. No Fridays.

Additional Information

Fast track start ASAP is available with initial ongoing temporary work; some temporary-to-permanent placements may be available for select candidates. Own transport is desirable due to site location, though there is a Bus Service 508 from Bishops Stortford / Harlow.
