BEM Launch Engineer -Wolverhampton -£29.61/hr (Inside IR35)

We’re looking for a BEM Launch Engineer to join a renowned automotive company based in Wolverhampton. This is your chance to play a key role in the Powertrain Division, supporting the launch and optimisation of cutting-edge battery technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Develop and implement methods to maximise production efficiency and resource use.
  • Lead studies in cost control, inventory management, and production processes.
  • Support plant engineers with facility planning and operational improvements.
  • Contribute to health & safety strategies and support training initiatives.
  • Optimise interconnected manufacturing systems to drive performance.
  • Apply problem-solving and HV battery expertise to improve manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Bring:
  • A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of battery systems and design principles.
  • Hands-on experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of the PCDS framework and familiarity with AIMS & issue management tools.
