Join Mencap in London as a Belonging Manager to help turn our commitment to equity and inclusion into everyday action. You’ll collaborate with the Head of Belonging and cross-functional colleagues to deliver programmes that remove barriers and improve people’s experience at work.

You’ll bring experience in managing programmes in equity, diversity, inclusion, culture or organisational development, and you’ll turn ideas into clear plans and engaging resources for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing programmes in equity, diversity, inclusion, culture or organisational development.
• Ability to translate ideas into clear plans and create engaging learning resources for diverse audiences.
• Experience listening to different perspectives, building trust and challenging decisions respectfully.
• Experience in a charity, social care or public service setting is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage belonging programmes from initial idea through to delivery, tracking progress, budgets and impact.
• Create accessible workshops, learning materials, toolkits and campaigns.
• Help leaders and managers put inclusion into practice, offering advice and constructive challenge.
• Support teams to deliver their inclusion action plans and overcome barriers.
• Use evidence and colleague feedback to understand what works and make improvements.
