Job summary

A leading global tax consulting firm in Belfast is seeking a Tax Manager/Associate Director to manage a diverse tax portfolio including multinational clients. This role involves liaising with both clients and HM Revenue & Customs, and working with a team of professionals to ensure compliance and provide advisory services. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant tax qualification and possess at least three years of experience in a professional environment. A snapshot of your peer group:

• Accounting and/or UK tax qualification (Chartered Accountant or equivalent, Chartered Institute of Tax)
• Strong technical knowledge of tax
• Minimum of three years in a professional environment

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:

• Responsibility for a tax portfolio of both NI, cross border & multinational clients.
• Working with supportive Partners and Directors on both tax compliance and advisory engagements.
• Liaising with clients and advising on all relevant tax issues.
• Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs on client’s behalf and seeking rulings on certain tax positions.
• Responsibility for training and monitoring associates together with reviewing their work.
• Liaising with other departments e.g. Deal Advisory to ensure advice and projects are successfully completed.
• Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role.
