Plumstead Manor is seeking a part-time Behaviour Support Worker to supervise students at lunchtime and uphold the school's behaviour framework in a busy secondary school in Greenwich.

The role involves monitoring during lunch, applying the Behaviour Policy, supporting restorative approaches, and carrying out First Aid duties. You will work with student prefects and ambassadors and must have Level 2 English and Maths and experience with children.

• Level 2 English and Maths qualifications, with experience of working with children.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and monitor students during lunch time, ensuring timely transition to lessons.
• Understand and implement the school's Behaviour Policy issuing rewards and sanctions as appropriate.
• Support staff in implementing a restorative approach to promote positive behaviour for learning.
• Carry out First Aid duties (training will be provided).
• Support student prefects and ambassadors in carrying out their roles.

Location: Plumstead, South East London

Salary: Scale 3 £7,140 per annum (Actual gross salary)

Job Type: Part Time, Permanent

Hours: 10 hours per week: 12:15pm - 2:15pm, term time only (38 weeks per year)

Closing Date: Monday 19th October at midday

About The Role:

As a part time Behaviour Support Worker your role will be to supervise students and to uphold the school's behaviour code and framework.

About You:

• You should have level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths together with experience of working with children and young people
