Our client school based in Fareham is seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join their staff team. The setting caters for individuals who struggle with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEMH) and SEN. The young people very often display challenging behaviours and so the successful applicant either must have experience or is not made uncomfortable by individuals going through emotional crisis.
The role will involve supporting the young people throughout the day, providing guidance and support to service users. They must also have the ability to work in collaboration with other members of staff, exceptional organisational skills and a devotion to young peoples development. The right candidate will have the ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgrounds.
All posts are subject to pre-employment checks, two references will be sought and successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check (DBS), medical clearance and provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK as well as evidence of teaching qualifications.
