About the role

This Behaviour Support Worker role involves supporting groups of children with additional needs such as ASD, PMLD, MLD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work within group and 1:1 settings with children of various ages and learning levels.

Your daily routine will involve adapting your approach to support pupils, ensuring their time in school is beneficial and productive. Your main goal is to support these pupils and prevent triggers or signs of unease, requiring a nurturing, patient, and empathetic attitude.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting within the last 2 years.
