NextGen Teachers are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Support Worker to join one of our partnership Secondary schools in Bradford starting from September 2025. This is a forward-thinking school who are part of a large multi-academy trusts based in West Bradford with easily accessible public transport routes.

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting students with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties. Working closely with teaching staff, the SEN team, and pastoral leads, you will help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who require behavioural support

  • Support the implementation of individual behaviour management plans

  • Help students develop self-regulation, social skills, and positive attitudes toward learning

  • Monitor behaviour and provide feedback to staff and parents/carers

  • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and engaging school atmosphere

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs

  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a school setting

  • Relevant training (e.g. Team Teach, de-escalation techniques)
