Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a Caerleon school with a strong reputation for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and behavioural challenges. This is an ideal opportunity for those interested in special education and making a positive impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ALN
Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping to address emotional and behavioral needs
Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
Adhere to school safeguarding policies
Adapt to changing classroom dynamics with resilience and flexibility
Job Requirements:
Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate (we assist with obtaining this)
EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council)
Provide two professional references covering the last 24 months
Previous experience supporting children with special education needs (SEN) is a plus, but we also welcome applications from those with personal experience or a desire to learn.
