Job Title: Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant | Location: Caerleon | Start ASAP

Salary: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a Caerleon school with a strong reputation for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and behavioural challenges. This is an ideal opportunity for those interested in special education and making a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ALN

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping to address emotional and behavioral needs

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Adhere to school safeguarding policies

  • Adapt to changing classroom dynamics with resilience and flexibility

Job Requirements:

  • Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate (we assist with obtaining this)

  • EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council)

  • Provide two professional references covering the last 24 months

  • Previous experience supporting children with special education needs (SEN) is a plus, but we also welcome applications from those with personal experience or a desire to learn.
