Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking dedicated support staff for Middlesbrough and surrounding areas. Roles are part-time or full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with pay ranging £92.56-£105 per day and immediate start.

Responsibilities include aiding teachers, supporting at-risk pupils, and helping those returning to class while maintaining school behaviour policies. An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, including those with challenging behaviour.
• Stays calm under pressure and maintains clear boundaries.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• TA qualification or Team Teach training is a bonus, but not essential.

What I'm looking for

• Experience working with young people, ideally including some with challenging behaviour. This could be in a school, a pupil referral unit, youth work, residential care, sports coaching or similar
• Someone who stays calm under pressure and holds boundaries consistently
• Confidence working with teenagers, including older Year 10 and 11 pupils
• A Teaching Assistant qualification or Team Teach training is a bonus, but not essential
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
