As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you’ll:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural, emotional or social challenges
• Build strong relationships that foster trust and respect
• De-escalate incidents calmly and confidently
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies and support plans
• Act as a role model, coach, and steady presence in a young person’s day

What You’ll Need:

• Natural resilience, empathy, and a sense of humour
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A calm, consistent and fair approach to behaviour
• Experience working with young people (formal or informal)
• A current DBS or willingness to obtain one
