Behaviour Support Assistant - Wokingham

An amazing school in Wokingham is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for students. The role is to start ASAP.

The focus of the role is supporting students in managing and processing their emotions healthily and ensuring they have access to effective coping strategies both at school and at home.

As a dedicated Behaviour and Intervention Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include delivering tailored interventions for students who need extra support. You will also support students with challenging behaviour in the classroom, helping them develop tools for good mental health.

This opportunity offers valuable experience and can be a stepping stone for aspiring psychologists or those pursuing a career in education.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Fostering trusting and supportive relationships with students to promote their well-being and resilience
  • Assisting with classroom activities to ensure student engagement
