1:1 Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant
Everton, Liverpool
£13.68 - £15.50 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This welcoming, two-form entry school in Everton, Liverpool, are looking to appoint a 1-1 behaviour specialist to support a child in a KS2 setting. The role is to start ASAP and will be ongoing, with a working pattern of Mon-Fri, 08:30am-15:30pm. The school is seeking a highly skilled and resilient behaviour management specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to a student experiencing attachment difficulties due to trauma. This role involves implementing effective behaviour management strategies, collaborating with educational psychologists and contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere. This school appreciates how important the partnership between home and school is and the need for their staff to work together to ensure a "memorable, quality" education for children to learn, grow and love.

Requirements

The desired candidate will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children

- Experience working with behaviour / trauma.

- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
