Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work on a full-time basis within a mainstream primary school in the Wisbech area. You will support students with their behaviour, build positive relationships, and help them engage in learning, both one-to-one and in small groups.

The role offers a dedicated, supportive environment with opportunities for long-term placement for the right candidate and thorough safeguarding checks, including Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people who display challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, Autism, or ADHD.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach with the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their potential.
• Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, or in a similar role is desirable.

• As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support students in managing their behaviour, developing positive relationships, and overcoming barriers to learning.
• Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and experienced support colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Building strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement, improve confidence, and promote positive behavioural outcomes.
• Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring to support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Supporting the implementation of behaviour strategies and helping students develop self-regulation skills.
• The role is full-time and has the potential to become long term for the right candidate.
