Job description

Behaviour Mentor:

Location- Sale

We currently have a very exciting full time position for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work in a respected Secondary School in Altrincham. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience supporting students with challenging behaviours. This role is looking to start in September for the new academic year and is a full time position. The school is located near many public transport links and there is also access to staff car parks if you drive. The pay for this role will be £90-£95 per day dependent one experience.

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide one to one support and interventions to students who have behavioural challenges.
  • Support students and help them to develop their social and emotional skills.
  • Work alongside the classroom teacher and other teaching staff to ensure the delivery of tailored support
  • Successfully assist in managing behaviour and create a safe and positive learning environment.

Role requirements:

  • Must be empathetic and patient and be able to adapt to student’s needs.
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
