Salary: £90-110 Per Day (depending on Experience)

Dunbar Education is partnering with a warm and welcoming primary school in Oxford, seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's life by providing consistent, calm, and confident support to fully engage with school life.

The Role
  1. Provide tailored 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with behavioural and emotional needs.
  2. Collaborate with class teachers, the SENCo, and parents to implement strategies and monitor progress.
  3. Promote emotional regulation, self-esteem, and positive behaviour.
  4. Be a reliable, proactive, and compassionate role model.
  5. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You
  1. Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting.
  2. Confident managing behaviour in a supportive and non-confrontational manner.
  3. Able to build strong, trusting relationships quickly.
  4. Calm under pressure, consistent, and nurturing.
  5. Team player with excellent communication skills.
