Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School – Croydon

A secondary school in Croydon is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to provide support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and thrive in their school environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the pastoral and SEN teams, offering one-on-one and group support, developing strategies to help students manage their behaviour and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group mentoring for students with behavioural, emotional, and social challenges.
  • Collaborate with the pastoral and SEN teams to develop and implement tailored behaviour plans for individual students.
  • Help students build coping strategies and resilience to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting on development.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, promoting self-esteem, emotional well-being, and improved behaviour.
