Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector?

Are you seeking a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable and at-risk young people?

Position Overview

A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range from 10 to 16 years old and face challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The Intervention and Pastoral Assistant will be a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and resilient.

Location and Benefits

The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills of Guildford with on-site parking. The role offers a daily rate of £80-£100, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, during term time only. Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD are provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.

Candidate Requirements
  • Open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health
  • Experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting
  • Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling are encouraged to apply
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no Visa sponsorship)
  • Ability to travel to Guildford and surrounding areas
