Job Description:

The school caters for primary aged pupils with diverse needs including SEMH, communication difficulties, ASD and challenging behaviours. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with pupils in an education setting and have a passion for supporting the social and educational development of young people.

The school hours are 8:30am until 3pm Monday-Friday.

To join us and be successful in this Behaviour Mentor role you will need to:

• Hold previous experience working with students who have Special Education Needs
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK

Additional requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine passion for working with children.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
