GSL Education are seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work at an Alternative Provision supporting students with additional needs in York, starting as soon as possible.

• Provide targeted support to students exhibiting challenging behaviour.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with students.
• Support students in and out of the classroom.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, ASC, ADHD, or behavioural needs (school, youth work, or care background welcomed).
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Have a clear understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
