A leading agency seeks an experienced teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs in a mainstream school. The role involves mentoring, tutoring, and developing educational activities for Key Stage 1 and 2 students. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for education, with a full-time commitment during term time.
Long-Term Teachers are seeking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant, confident in supporting a resource class within a mainstream school. You will work with students in Key Stage 1 and 2 who have special educational needs, including learning, physical, social, emotional, and mental health needs. You must be adaptable, caring, patient, and possess a strong work ethic. While working alongside other TAs, you should be able to use initiative to carry out tasks independently.
The position is full-time, working Monday to Friday, term-time only.
