Job summary

Teach360 is recruiting a Behaviour Mentor for a Secondary School in Harrow to start ASAP on a long-term basis. The role involves providing 1:1 intervention and in-class support for students with behavioural needs, including those with ASD, and working during lunch/breaks and lesson times to monitor attendance and safety.

Physical restraint training is desirable. You will collaborate with pastoral staff to support students and contribute to a positive learning environment in a progressive

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with behavioural needs.
• 1:1 intervention and in-class support experience.
• Desirable: training in Physical Restraint.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily 1:1 support and in-class assistance to students.
• Support during lunch breaks and morning breaks and patrol during lesson times.
• Help manage behaviour and support learning to improve student outcomes.

The Role - Behaviour Mentor - Harrow

We are looking for a strong and experienced Behaviour mentor to join a Secondary School starting soon as possible. You will be working closely with students facing behaviour problems due to varrious aspects such as ADHD, Social and emtional or life traumas. For the Behaviour Mentor role you will be required to provide 1:1 support and in class support to the students on a day to day basis. You will also be supporting students during lunch and morning breaks as well as after school and patrolling during lesson times to ensure all students are in class. As a Behaviour Mentor you will help manage the child's behaviour as well as supporting them with their learning. Physical Intervention training is highly desirable.
