Teaching Personnel is recruiting Behaviour Mentors for Primary and SEN schools in the NG18 (Mansfield) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural needs
Help students develop positive coping strategies and routines
Use de-escalation techniques and manage challenging situations calmly
Support reintegration into lessons or structured activities
Work closely with SENCOs, behaviour leads, and external agencies
Experience supporting children or young people with behaviour challenges (formal or informal)
A confident, calm, and patient approach
A background in psychology, youth work, mentoring, or sports coaching is a bonus
A commitment to inclusion and safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
