Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector?

Are you looking for a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable young and at-risk young people?

A well-respected specialist school near Godalming is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. The students therefore need an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge! The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills and has on-site parking.

The ideal Behaviour Mentor must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.

Start date: ASAP
Salary: £80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
Location: Must be able to travel to Godalming and surrounding areas
Training: Excellent on-site education and training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
