An established industry player is seeking a passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support children with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health disorders? Are you interested in supporting children who have challenging behaviour? Do you have experience working as a Secondary Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor with young people who cannot attend mainstream school and have a background of behavioural challenges?
Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH? Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you!
The children you will support will have various needs, including significant complex behaviour challenges and sometimes associated SEND. The SEMH School is looking for SEMH Teaching Assistants to work with students AGED 11-16.
Experience Required:
A passion for working with SEND is essential.
