Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an experienced Behaviour Manager for a high-performing secondary school in Manchester. You will join the pastoral team and apply your previous school experience to lead behaviour strategies and support pupils.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day behaviour across the school, leading targeted interventions, monitoring attendance and punctuality, running restorative conversations and liaising with parents.

Qualifications

• Previous school experience is essential.
• Experience in Behaviour Manager, Pastoral Manager, Inclusion or Student Support is advantageous.
• Experience with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour is useful.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day behaviour across the school.
• Leading targeted behaviour interventions.
• Supporting students following incidents or sanctions.
• Monitoring behaviour, attendance and punctuality.
• Running restorative conversations.
• Liaising with parents and carers.
• Supporting internal inclusion and reflection.
• Maintaining accurate behaviour records.
• Identifying patterns and developing interventions.
