Contract Type: Flexible / Potential for Long-Term, Full-Time

Do you have the skills to support and inspire young people with behavioural needs?Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in education?

Elevate is currently recruiting for a committed and compassionate Behaviour Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with KS3 students in the BD8 area of Bradford. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in behaviour management, youth work, mentoring, or alternative provision.

The school is Ofsted-rated "Good" and located in an area with excellent transport links, including regular bus routes and access to the A6177 and A650, making it easily reachable from other parts of Bradford and surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver personalised sessions focused on academic engagement, behaviour regulation, and emotional wellbeing

Build positive, trusting relationships to help young people develop socially and academically

Create a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment

Collaborate with school staff, carers, and external agencies to ensure consistent support

Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reporting

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with young people in a behavioural or support capacity

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Patience, resilience, and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations

Empathy and a belief in second chances

Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with Elevate and school staff
