Milk Education is recruiting a Behaviour Buddy for a Primary School in Shiremoor, starting in September. The role supports pupils with behaviour and learning, delivering catch-up sessions and promoting engagement within a community-focused school.

Open to new or experienced educators, offering flexible long- or short-term placements, APSCo compliance, and access to Milk Academy training and resources to support your professional development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and safeguarding knowledge.
• DBS check required or willing to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience in education is beneficial.

We're currently recruiting for a Behaviour Buddy to join a Primary School in Shiremoor on a long- or short-term basis starting in September.

This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
• Support pupils in managing their behaviour and emotions.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage engagement in learning.
• Monitor, record, and report on pupils' behaviour and progress.

Requirements or Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management strategies.
• An enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one).
• Good teamwork, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
