Job description

Behaviour and Relationship Mentor, Scunthorpe

At St Luke’s, we are seeking a Behaviour and Relationship Mentor to support children in regulating their emotions throughout the school day, starting September 2025.

Experience in a special school setting is not essential; however, understanding and experience in helping children with emotional regulation and supporting their emotional wellbeing, especially those with additional needs, is beneficial.

Knowledge of a Trauma Informed Approach is essential, as it forms the foundation of our support strategies for children.

The role also involves working with families to provide comprehensive support to the entire caregiver system.

St. Luke’s Primary School caters to 191 pupils aged 2 to 11 years, many with additional needs and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
