Behaviour and Learning Coach
Location: Lancaster
Pay: £400 - £475 per week (depending on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: Flexible / Immediate

Vision for Education is currently seeking a Behaviour and Learning Coach to support secondary-aged students (11–17) in a mainstream school in Lancaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people, especially those facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
About the Role
As a Behaviour and Learning Coach, you’ll play a vital role in helping students engage with their learning by building positive relationships, developing their self-regulation skills, and supporting their academic and personal growth. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support within the classroom and in small-group or 1:1 settings.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in youth work, mentoring, teaching assistance, or care, who wants to help young people thrive in a structured, mainstream educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support students with behaviour that can present as challenging or disengaged
Assist in the delivery of tailored strategies to improve behaviour and learning outcomes
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to improve engagement
Promote emotional resilience and support students’ wellbeing
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Behaviour and Learning Coach, you will:
Be resilient, patient, and empathetic
Be passionate about making a difference to young people’s lives
Understand Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Ideally have experience working with young people in schools, youth work, or care settings
