Job details

Salary Salary range £29,588.00 - £33,951.00 per annum

The Behaviour Analysis Clinic at The University of South Wales is seeking to appoint a Behaviour Analyst to contribute to the delivery and development of services at its highly successful Behaviour Analysis Clinic. This service provides behaviour analytic assessment and intervention planning for young children with autism and other developmental delays.

The successful candidate will be a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA; or will expect to attain their certification within 12 months of appointment). Key responsibilities will include managing an independent caseload, supervising students, and delivering training courses. The successful candidate will join a team of 4-5 BCBAs and BCBA-Ds, with supervision and support being provided from the on-site clinical lead. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for a new BCBA that is looking to further develop their clinical and supervisory skills. As this is a university-based service, opportunities may also be available to teach at the university and contribute to research being conducted on-site.

This is a full time (1.0 FTE), fixed term post for 12 months (Maternity Cover). Job share will be considered.

The university is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.

Based on the Glyntaff Campus of the University of South Wales.

If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
