Overview

Are you a skilled Behaviour Analyst who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young adults? Join our growing team of experienced Behaviour Analysts and play a vital role in ensuring our pupils receive the best PBS support. This support is crucial to enable them to learn and thrive in school and ensure they have the skills to have the best possible opportunities in adulthood.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a trans-disciplinary team to support the delivery of effective and appropriate teaching, learning and behaviour support in all areas of school life, underpinned by an evidence-based behavioural model of practice.
  • Conduct functional assessments and develop comprehensive function-based Positive Behaviour Support plans and interventions to reduce behaviour that challenges, monitoring effectiveness through robust data collection and analysis.
  • Use evidence-informed practices to develop personalised learning support.
  • Conduct a range of assessments including assessment for learning, assessment of learning, admissions assessments, behavioural assessments and assessments of maintenance and generalisation.
  • Prepare for and contribute to Person Centred Reviews.
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Play an active role in the school’s approach to Positive Handling, with potential to become a Team-Teach Trainer (training provided). Provide training, support and advice to staff to ensure any use of restrictive intervention is lawful, ethical, and embedded within proactive plans to reduce restriction.
