For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians!

Current MaineHealth employee members are ineligible; former members are ineligible until more than 3 months of separation from employment. Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule.

~ 40 Hours/week, Full-time, Day shift ~

Licensure in Maine as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c) is required.

Summary

Level I: The Behavioral Health Clinician I, working under a conditional license, provides comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family therapy, maintaining clinical records, collaborating with community providers, and participating in team meetings for effective treatment and discharge planning. This role is under direct clinical supervision to work towards independent licensure.

Level II: The Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, provides comprehensive care and support to clients. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and delivering therapy through individual, group, and family sessions.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  2. License/Certifications:
    Level I: LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from the Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR).
    Level II: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the Maine OPOR.
  3. Experience:
    Level I: Behavioral health experience including internship prior to becoming a conditionally licensed clinician.
    Level II: At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
  5. Preferred Skills/Requirements: N/A
