Befriender 'Out and About' Volunteer

Location: Guildford

Time Commitment: Flexible

The Befriender 'Out and About' Volunteer will play an important role in the lives of the people we support in Guildford by being a reliable companion to attend activities they enjoy, such as attending concerts, going to the cinema, taking walks, visiting gardening centres, shopping trips, etc.

Skills required:

  • Good sense of humour and love for chatting
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Kind, empathetic, and friendly nature
  • Ability to handle information confidentially in line with data protection procedures
  • Assist with sighted guide/orientation when necessary
