Role Description
Befriender 'Out and About' Volunteer
Location: Exeter, Devon
Time Commitment: Flexible
The Befriender 'Out and About' Volunteer will play an important role in the lives of the people we support at our supported living service in Exeter by being a reliable companion to attend activities they enjoy, such as going for a walk, attending a concert, going to the cinema, or out for coffee or a meal.
Skills required:
Please note that you will need to be over the age of 18 to apply for this role. To apply, click the 'apply' button below and complete the application form. Our Volunteering Team will contact you for an informal chat and to explain the next steps. To ensure the safety of the people we support, a DBS check and two satisfactory references are required before confirming the role. As you will be volunteering with vulnerable individuals, safeguarding training and any specific role training are mandatory.
