The Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer will play an important role by providing companionship to someone we support in Redhill, spending time with them, visiting them in their home, and doing activities they enjoy. These might include chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, playing board games, etc.
Please note that you need to be over the age of 18 to apply for this role. To apply, click on the 'apply' button below and complete the application form. After receiving your application, a member of our Volunteering Team will contact you for an informal chat and to explain the next steps. To ensure the safety of the people we support, a DBS check and two satisfactory references are required before confirming your volunteer role. As you will be volunteering directly with vulnerable individuals, you will also need to undertake safeguarding training, as well as any specific training related to the role.
